The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality design outputs that meet project requirements. Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing project mechanical drawings for compliance with design intent
- Performing and reviewing engineering designs, including calculations and design development
- Interpreting engineering drawings, documents, and specifications
- Identifying scope variations and preparing relevant documentation
- Liaising with the drafting team to prepare drawing deliverables
- Developing technical documentation, including scopes of work and specifications
- Reviewing certified vendor documentation and disseminating information to relevant personnel
- Maintaining knowledge of industry developments and project-specific codes and standards
- Supporting team members to ensure project deliverables are met
The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, 8+ years of post-graduate experience in the industrial processes industry, and excellent knowledge of mechanical process optimization. They will also have a strong attention to detail, ability to work within budgetary and schedule constraints, and excellent organizational skills.
