As a key member of the Qantas Legal team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice and guidance to various business units within the Qantas Group. The role involves:
- Providing legal analysis and advice on critical projects, transactions, and risks
- Negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts to ensure compliance with the Qantas Group's risk framework
- Preparing submissions and advice on regulatory matters
You will work closely with the Head of Legal and other stakeholders to ensure effective legal services are provided to the business. Your ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner will be essential in building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in general corporate, regulatory, or commercial law disciplines
- Training in a top-tier law firm or equivalent
- Law degree with a current Practising Certificate in New South Wales or Victoria
