We are seeking a visionary leader to join our team as Deputy Principal Secondary at Granville South Creative and Performing Arts High School.

Salary and BenefitsThe remuneration package for this role includes a base salary of $151,893.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation, totaling approximately $169,880.00.
About the RoleAs Deputy Principal Secondary, you will be responsible for promoting a strong positive culture, enhancing student engagement and belonging, and building authentic connections with all students. You will work collaboratively with our leadership team to develop and sustain wellbeing initiatives that support the academic and personal growth of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage school teams to enhance collective staff efficacy and drive school improvement and innovation
- Collaborate with teachers to design and implement quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with parents, carers, and external stakeholders to build trust and foster a sense of community
- Contribute to whole-school planning and evaluation to inform best practices and align with the School Excellence Framework
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record of educational leadership and management experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and engage students, staff, and parents
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage change, drive innovation, and promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policies
