Job Title: Support & Safety Hub Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team as a Support & Safety Hub Practitioner.

This is a full-time position, 12 months fixed term, based in the Bayside/Peninsula area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering high-quality responses to women, children, and families seeking support and safety through our hub.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver interim support as a lead practitioner or support worker aligned with the Integrated Practice Framework.
  • Undertake screening and triage, assessment, crisis responses, service planning, targeted interventions, allocation, and coordinated referrals consistent with the Integrated Practice Framework, Operational Guidelines, Service Specifications, and relevant risk assessment tools and frameworks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent formal learning.
  • Experience working in the family violence sector is desirable.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Family & Domestic Violence, including context, principles, philosophies, policies, regulations, and legislation.
  • A current and valid VIC Employee Working with Children Check is required.
