Job Title: Senior Event Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Event Manager to lead the delivery of high-profile events in Western Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our events program.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Events Team in the planning and execution of events.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure successful event outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify new business opportunities and develop proposals to secure major events.
• Manage event budgets and negotiate contracts to achieve maximum value for our organization.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to events management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event management, preferably in a similar role or industry sector.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of staff and external contractors.
• Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
