Senior Event Manager

Springwood Resort is seeking a senior role to help build and expand its business.

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of events and marketing, ensuring every aspect of guest experiences—from initial inquiry to departure—is exceptional.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, promote, staff, and coordinate guest activities that vary seasonally
  • Coordinate special events (group events, weddings, retreats, etc.), ensuring a personal touch that leads to successful, profitable events and rave reviews
  • Develop and execute special events and programs to grow the business

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Hospitality or Marketing, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in hospitality or service industry
  • At least 1 year experience in developing social media, website, and marketing content, with familiarity with MailChimp or similar tools

Bonus:

  • Camp counselor experience or comfort leading children's activities
  • Strong knowledge and passion for board games
