The Patient Services Assistant will work in the birth suite Ward G department at Casey Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning wards and departments
- Making beds
- Using lifting equipment such as bed movers and wheelchairs
- Assisting nursing staff as required
- Transferring and cleaning ward equipment
Requirements for this role include:
- A Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (essential)
- Previous experience as a patient services assistant (desirable)
- Excellent understanding of patient identification procedures
- Ability to comprehend and follow written instructions and procedures
- Physical ability to undertake tasks including lifting, carrying, and manual handling
- Strong understanding of cleaning methodologies and infection control procedures
As a Patient Services Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You'll work closely with other teams to provide exceptional patient care and support.
