Support Patient Care Role

This role involves supporting nursing teams in delivering high-quality patient care, including cleaning services and assisting with patient transfers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily tasks such as patient discharge and cleaning of ward equipment.
  • Operate lifting machines to assist with patient transfers.
  • Transfer and clean ward equipment.
  • Provide support to nursing staff as needed.
  • Coordinate the transportation of patient-related items between hospital services.
Essential Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Health Services Assistance is required.
  • Food Handlers Certificate - Level 1 is also essential.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are necessary for this role.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
  • Strong understanding of infection control protocols and patient identification procedures.
