Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will provide holistic, integrated care to clients enhancing their mobility and movement to promote their independence and wellbeing.

You will work with clients with a wide variety of physical conditions and tailor your care to make a real difference in your client's quality of life. This role involves working within a collaborative team with Physiotherapists and other Massage Therapists.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assessing symptoms and medical history, making a diagnosis and developing care plans for individuals
  • Manipulating muscles and other soft tissue/s
  • Educating and training your clients on all aspects of therapy
  • Providing your clients with goal setting activities and guidance on stretching, strengthening and improving posture
  • Referring your clients to Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology treatment where required
  • Liaising with various healthcare professionals such to ensure care plans are formulated and monitored
  • Documenting and reporting on your client's condition and progress

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualifications in Massage Therapy from a recognised institution
  • Experience working with a diverse range of clients with varying physical conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of relevant industry software and systems
