Key Supply Chain Position

Our company is seeking a skilled professional to assume the role of Senior Supply Chain Specialist.

This position plays a critical part in ensuring business success by leading and representing the supply chain function within the wider organization.

The Senior Supply Chain Specialist will focus on promoting strong business confidence in system information accuracy for product availability.

Effective performance in this role is essential to providing customers with timely and dependable information regarding delivery of orders and completion of service repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the supply chain function with ongoing facilitation of monthly process improvements for medical capital equipment and further product groups.
  • Collaborate closely with the supply chain manager to develop enhancements to the process and execute opportunities for expansion.
  • Facilitate monthly meetings with business unit managers to discuss strategic plans and progress.
  • Provide daily information regarding potential and actual shortages for stocked product lines with reliable ETA details.
  • Supply & Forecasting Control including ETA reporting, forecasting, coordination with logistics providers and procurement teams.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of system transactional processes affecting inventory records; provide day-to-day governance and support to system users where required.
  • Represent the supply chain function across local, regional, and global projects, with emphasis toward planning process change and development.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in supply chain or business analysis, and/or relevant past business experience.

Advanced level of SAP knowledge is highly regarded.

Good interpersonal communication skills, coupled with listening skills and the ability to work within a team environment are essential.

Experience in a similar role with demonstrated ability to analyze and develop supply-chain strategies within a complex supply model is preferred.

Ability to communicate confidently and effectively about business policy and processes to a wide range of stakeholders is required.

Demonstrated ability in problem solving, root cause analysis and participating in the development of changes to procedures and systems is desired.
