Our client, a leader in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, and Medical Industries, is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join their team. This role focuses on managing the end-to-end supply chain processes, with a strong emphasis on data analytics and performance improvement.

Main Purpose:

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will manage purchasing, planning, and inventory optimisation, while using data-driven insights to enhance supply chain efficiency. You will work closely with global production centers to maintain service levels and improve processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end management of purchasing and planning for your portfolio.
  • Collaborate with overseas production centers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Optimize inventory levels and monitor stock in transit, backorders, and overdue purchase or
  • ders.Analyze and report on key supply chain metrics, including inventory, OTIF, and Fill Rate.
  • Use data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Palantir) to extract insights, track KPIs, and drive process improvements.
  • Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Support system platforms such as SAP for supply chain processes.

Key Competencies (success candidate must have):

  • Data Proficiency: Strong ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Palantir.
  • Results-Oriented: Focused on meeting KPIs and driving measurable improvements.
  • Collaborative: Build partnerships across teams to meet shared objectives.
  • Innovative: Continuously seek new ways to enhance processes and supply chain efficiency.

Education & Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in supply planning.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Palantir) and strong data literacy.
  • SAP ERP experience is essential.
  • Experience in FMCG or pharmaceutical industries is advantageous.
