As a Senior Supply Chain Specialist, you will take ownership of complex supply chain operations, including inventory planning, order management, logistics coordination, and purchasing. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of capital orders, while driving strategic improvements across the supply chain.
Inventory Management
- Lead inventory planning for capital orders through S&OP processes
- Drive improvements in inventory management and stock movement coordination
- Manage ERP inventory tasks: SOH checks, ISOs, redeployments, reservations, and scheduling
- Oversee reconciliation of capital inventory with 3PL and conduct stock takes
- Present capital inventory reports at monthly Executive S&OP meetings
Order Management
- Oversee review and status updates of all capital orders
- Collaborate with customer service and project managers on critical installations
Logistics
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics with warehouses, vendors, and freight forwarders
- Ensure compliance with importation and shipping documentation
- Monitor and improve shipping performance and resolve escalated issues
Purchasing
- Lead purchasing activities for internal and external goods/services
- Generate and manage purchase requisitions and orders in ERP
- Coordinate replenishment of capital accessories and track overdue ISOs
- Prepare forecasts and lead Demand and Supply Consensus Meetings
- Act as key liaison for vendor and internal purchasing communications
- Mentor junior team members and support cross-functional collaboration
- Identify and implement process improvements across supply chain functions
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making with supply chain leadership
Other Duties
- Support additional supply chain initiatives as required
- Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain or related discipline
- 4+ years' experience in supply chain operations, preferably in healthcare or life sciences
- Proven expertise in inventory control, logistics, purchasing, and forecasting
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (Oracle or equivalent)
- Ability to work flexibly across time zones with global vendors
