About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Finance Advisor to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a key member of our Finance team, you will provide administrative support to our financial business processes, ensuring the smooth operation of payroll activities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Administer and process payroll for college staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Provide first-point contact for statutory and non-statutory agencies, including HMRC, Department of Work & Pensions, and funding agencies.
  3. Liaise with agencies relating to payroll deductions, such as childcare vouchers and attachment of earnings.
  4. Undertake payroll month-end and year-end processes, adhering to set deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
  5. Support staff with online payslip and P60 enquiries.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of a Level 2 business-related qualification (AAT, Business & Administration, etc.) and previous experience working in Finance or a cash handling environment. You must be able to meet tight deadlines, manage workload effectively, and possess a high attention to detail and decision-making skills.
