Market Access Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Market Access Professional to lead the development and implementation of comprehensive market access strategies for products and portfolios throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Market Access Strategies: Develop and implement strategic plans to secure reimbursement approvals, drive product success, and align with business objectives.
  • Pricing Strategy Development: Lead pricing strategy development aligned with market conditions and company goals while ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align market access strategies with overall business objectives and ensure effective execution.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to inform decision-making and support product development and commercialization efforts.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, represent the company in negotiations, and mentor a team of market access professionals.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Health Economics, Business, Life Sciences) or higher, with a preferred postgraduate qualification in areas such as health economics, medical science, or an MBA.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in market access, pricing, and reimbursement in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sectors.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory environments and healthcare systems in Australia/New Zealand.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to think strategically and execute effectively, with proficiency in data analysis and market research tools.
