Senior Planner - Materials Management Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our dynamic team in North Ryde. As a key member of our planning and forecasting team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategies at the bill of material level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive planning and forecasting strategies to ensure adequate supply of materials.
  • Review and analyze complex data to present insights to senior stakeholders and drive results.
  • Collaborate across departments to enhance operational efficiency and optimize inventory management.
  • Evaluate and forecast material requirements using multiple sources and coordinate with purchasing teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal projects and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Assess supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and timeliness of delivery.
  • Resolve issues related to supply chain, including delays, discrepancies in inventory, or problems with suppliers.
  • Implement strategies for inventory management to prevent shortages and excesses.
  • Conduct regular reviews of material demand and supply patterns to identify trends and make necessary adjustments.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in planning and forecasting, particularly at the bill of material level.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and JD Edwards.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a talent for presenting data clearly and effectively to multiple senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and deliver results under tight deadlines.
