Senior Planner - Materials Management Opportunity

At Randstad, we are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our planning and forecasting team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategies at the bill of material level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive planning and forecasting strategies to ensure accurate material requirements.
  • Analyze complex data and present insights to senior stakeholders to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and drive results.
  • Evaluate and forecast material requirements using multiple sources, ensuring timely delivery of materials.
  • Coordinate with purchasing teams to ensure adequate supply of materials and develop relationships with internal projects and suppliers.
  • Assess supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and timeliness of delivery, resolving issues related to supply chain disruptions.
  • Implement strategies for inventory management to prevent shortages and excesses, conducting regular reviews of material demand and supply patterns.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure weeks of cover and DIFOT are in line with business expectations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in planning and forecasting, particularly at the bill of material level.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and JD Edwards.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a talent for presenting data clearly and effectively to multiple senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and deliver results under tight deadlines.
