Site Supervisor Role Summary

This challenging role focuses on providing exceptional support to staff, volunteers, and family members within our Community Centre environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to work with diverse populations. They must be able to manage complex situations with empathy and tact while ensuring seamless service delivery.

The Site Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a positive atmosphere, supervising staff, covering breaks, and working as needed. This involves coaching, guiding, and managing staff through regular supervision meetings, skill development, and referrals. Effective communication with the Management Team, departments, and community partners is crucial for successful collaboration.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Diploma in a related social services field (desired)
  • Certificate or equivalent in Trauma Informed Practices (asset)
  • Minimum two years of experience in senior supervisory roles in community social services
