We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Business Partner to join our People and Safety team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced and adaptive environment.

About the Role

This role is responsible for providing pragmatic and timely HR advice to leaders and employees, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives, award, and legislative requirements. You will work closely with people leaders to develop their capabilities through advising, coaching, and training.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong understanding of human resources principles and practices, particularly in the areas of employee relations and performance management. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and influence decision-making. A natural problem solver with a willingness to research and find adaptive solutions for business problems is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing people leaders to achieve effective workplace relationships and enhanced people management capability and practices with early intervention a focus.
  • Provide considered ER/IR guidance, support, and training to people leaders in relation to performance management across their teams and undertake workplace investigations.
  • Ensure knowledge is shared throughout the organisation in relation to people and performance deliverables.
What We Offer

In addition to a salary of up to $107K dependant upon experience, you will receive a generous superannuation scheme, where council contributes an additional 2.75% on top of the super guarantee. You will also enjoy 5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% leave loading, corporate uniforms provided, payroll deductions and salary sacrificing options available, and the opportunity to work a 9-day fortnight or a 19-day month.
