About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will have a strong background in HR and be able to provide strategic advice to department managers across all stages of the employee life cycle.

This role will involve managing recruitment, retention, performance management, workplace investigations, and providing guidance on all people-related matters. Additionally, you will be responsible for establishing and conducting onboarding orientation and training programs, as well as ensuring compliance with legislation requirements, company policies, and procedures.

You will also champion our company values and create a culture that showcases the Stamford Way. This includes promoting a health and safety culture and ensuring compliance with current Health and Safety legislation.

The ideal candidate will have HR qualifications and experience within a large complex organisation, preferably in the hospitality or people-centric environment. They will also have good understanding of Australian employment legislation and HR trends.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing all functions of the Human Resources department
  • Providing HR advice and coaching to department managers
  • Establishing and conducting onboarding orientation and training programs
  • Managing the full employee relations cycle
  • Ensuring compliance with legislation requirements, company policies, and procedures
  • Promoting a health and safety culture

In return, we offer a competitive salary package including a base salary of $120,000 per annum, plus superannuation benefits.
