Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. As an HR Business Partner, you will drive key HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with both immediate and long-term business goals. Your work will span:

  • Developing and implementing HR strategies tailored to business objectives.
  • Gaining in-depth proficiency in Workday, handling transactions related to learning and development and performance management.
  • Providing hands-on support in employee relations, case management, and disciplinary matters, offering guidance on policies, performance, investigations, and compensation.
  • Advising on industrial instruments, Australian employment law, and Modern Awards; escalating complex issues when needed.
  • Managing the employee lifecycle comprehensively, including transactional HR tasks.
  • Regularly visiting key Brisbane or Sydney sites to maintain a strong presence.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • At least 3+ years in a senior HR advisory or business partner role, with 5+ years in a similar industry and a focus on HR operations and business partnering.
  • A strong understanding of Australian employment law, Modern Awards, HRIS systems, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related field.
