The successful candidate will work collaboratively with participants to identify goals and plans for the future, delivering program activities developed to support wellbeing and build capacity. With a strong focus on community engagement and social connections, this role is ideal for someone passionate about working with young people and providing an understanding, flexible, and creative approach.
About the RoleAs an integral member of the Youth Residential Recovery team, you will draw upon your knowledge and work experience to support young people to develop skills and confidence to improve their well-being and connections within the community. You will be responsible for delivering program activities, working collaboratively with participants to identify goals and plans for the future, and providing support and guidance to help them achieve their recovery goals.
The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or above in the field of study, Community Services, Mental Health, Youth Work, AoD, and/or experience in a similar related field. You will also need to have a current valid Driver's License, appropriate IT skills, and a satisfactory Police Records Check, Working with Children Check, and Right to Work within Australia.
