Job Overview

The Rostering Coordinator role plays a pivotal part in the smooth operation of our residential facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and communicating front-line employees' shifts via our centralised rostering tool.

This role is integral to all staffing outcomes across the facility, delivering operational stability for residents, their families, and visiting health professionals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ongoing management of daily master rosters with minimal shift disruptions, including handling sickness and leave requests, coordinating backfilling and casual workforce optimisation, and requesting labour hire workforce.
  • Collaboration with the corporate rostering team to ensure accurate and up-to-date rostering system data, enabling forecasting for better resource management.
  • Leading interactions with staff on site, including fortnightly allocations, roster changes, and communication of available/new shifts, ensuring all daily shifts are filled and have backups.
  • Providing training and user access to our timekeeping system, including troubleshooting and welcoming new employees on site-based systems.
  • Maintaining confidential rostering information as per company policies and code of conduct expectations.
You Will Offer
  • Extensive experience in rostering is mandatory, particularly with direct, contractor, and labour hire staff.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in fast-paced roles.
  • Ability to work directly with operational teams, being the single point of contact for rostering information.
  • Valid NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain it to operate within the facility.
  • Experience with Roster 'Bid Manager' tools and working with broader rostering teams and site senior administrators.
