We're seeking a results-driven Travel Sales Professional to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting holiday packages, flights, hotels, cruises, tours, and travel insurance to customers. You'll build strong relationships with clients, manage new enquiries, quotes, itineraries, amendments, and cancellations using Amadeus GDS. Your goal is to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, cross-sell, and up-sell travel products.

You'll work closely with colleagues to facilitate domestic and international travel bookings and payments between travellers and suppliers. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Additionally, you'll be able to manage workflow, set goals, meet sales targets, and work productively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote travel products and services to customers
  • Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Manage travel bookings and payments using Amadeus GDS
  • Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings and upsell/cross-sell travel products
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales targets and KPIs
Requirements
  • Retail travel sales experience, essential
  • Certificate 3 in Travel or higher, preferred
  • GDS experience in Amadeus, Sabre, preferred
  • Passion for the travel industry and personal travel experience
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
