Product Design Director, RACV

As Product Design Lead at RACV, you will be responsible for delivering complex strategic design initiatives that delight our customers and enable digitisation of RACV products and services.
You will lead a talented team of product designers, establishing and evolving best practices to drive the overall value and impact of product design at RACV.
This role involves keeping in touch with industry trends and changes, helping position RACV as a leader in digital product design by delivering new and evolved digital products to market, ensuring a human-centric experience with an uplift to business benefits.

- Facilitating workshops, co-design and collaborative sessions to align with stakeholders and draw out innovative customer experiences and business requirements
- Helping to drive alignment on digital product design priorities and execution across RACV Group
- Leading and delivering multiple projects, keeping to timelines and budget
- Serving as the voice of the design team in discussions with stakeholders, ensuring that design considerations are integrated into decision-making processes
- Bachelor's or master's degree in design, Psychology, Social Science, Entrepreneurship or Business
- 8+ years of experience in digital product design, with at least 3+ years in leadership
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing and delivering successful digital products across various platforms and digitising analog products
- Proven experience in mentoring and developing design teams, with a track record of building a high-performance design practice
- Experience working in agile or lean environment
- Understanding and application of HCD, best practice customer experience, usability and accessibility standards
