Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience.

Job Description

As Product Design Lead, you will be responsible for delivering strategic design initiatives that enhance the customer experience and drive business growth. You will lead a talented team of product designers, establish best practices, and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing design strategies that align with business objectives
  • Leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget
  • Mentoring and developing design talent to achieve high-performance results
  • Fostering a culture of innovation and experimentation within the design team
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure design considerations are integrated into decision-making processes
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, psychology, social science, entrepreneurship, or business
  • At least 8 years of experience in digital product design, with a minimum of 3 years in leadership
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing and delivering successful digital products
  • Proven experience in mentoring and developing design teams, with a track record of building a high-performance design practice
  • Experience working in agile or lean environments
  • Understanding and application of human-centered design (HCD), best practice customer experience, usability, and accessibility standards
