Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Account Manager to join our team in Canberra. This is an exciting opportunity to build long-term relationships with Defence, Intelligence and National Security clients while ensuring commitments are met.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead sales opportunities from capture through to close using a consultative sales approach.
  • Develop and maintain strong enduring customer relationships.
  • Initiate and lead regular client meetings to sell Services and Products, and Training.
  • Drive deeper adoption of Service engagements and Product usage identifying new opportunities in adjacent markets.
  • Perform competitive market intelligence providing input to strategic and business planning to expand market share.

**Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Defence or National Security business development account management procurement and stakeholder management.
  • Established professional networks in Defence and National Security Industry with knowledge of Defence contracting and panel procurement practices.
  • Proven sales experience with ability to engage with senior decision makers take control of negotiation process and close sales.

**Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience working with geospatial software tools i.e. Esri or open source and geospatial data e.g. raster and vector datasets.
  • Experience working in Defence or National Security programs as either an enlisted member or contractor consultant.
