Disability Support Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide support to people with disability and/or neurodiversity.

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, promoting social inclusion and reducing mental health impact.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Representing our organization professionally and adhering to our code of conduct and policies.
  • Liaising with staff, participants, and families to develop productive working relationships.
  • Providing meaningful support, maintaining availability, and completing case notes and mileage records in a timely manner.
  • Reporting incidents, participating in training, and contributing to term programs and activities.

Requirements:
Skill Set:

  • Good numeracy, written, and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow organisational policies and instructions.
  • Understanding of workplace guidelines and statutory requirements.
  • Commitment to delivering services to people with disability, in line with NDIS Code of Conduct and National Standards.

Essential Experience and Qualifications:

  • Appropriate qualification or current studies (desired).
  • Lived experience valued.
  • Experience working with diverse people and age groups.
  • Passion for helping people and making a difference.

Security Checks and Other Requirements:

  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
  • Proof of Residency/Right to work in Australia.

Benefits:

  • A competitive hourly rate of $32.73.
