As a Trade Store Customer Service Operator, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless order fulfillment. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers face-to-face and over the phone, resolving their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, with a current forklift license (advantageous) or willingness to obtain one. In addition, they will have experience in picking, packing, and dispatching orders efficiently and accurately.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Picking and packing orders daily to ensure timely delivery to customers
  • Dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone, providing them with accurate information and resolving their queries and concerns
  • Assisting with stock takes and inventory counts to ensure accurate records are maintained
  • Loading and unloading customer vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Maintaining operational equipment and reporting any faults or damage to management
