Your Role as Retail Sales Assistant

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Vinnies retail team in Hornsby on a casual basis. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will utilise your superb fashion sense or experience in the fashion industry, excellent customer service skills, and ability to drive sales to achieve success in this role.

You will have the opportunity to learn different aspects of store operations and grow your retail career with Vinnies.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring all customers receive a positive experience.
  • Maintain compliance with Vinnies policies and procedures.
  • Replenish stock on the sales floor to maintain an attractive display.
  • Utilise your creative flair in assisting with visual merchandising to showcase products effectively.
  • Sort and price items according to Vinnies pricing guidelines.
  • Contribute to achieving sales targets of the store through effective teamwork and motivation.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills to provide a positive customer experience.
  • Show flexibility and availability during weekends and peak times to meet business demands.
  • Demonstrate good organisational and time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • Display energetic drive to support the team in achieving sales targets.
  • Understand fashion trends and be able to communicate them effectively to customers.
Salary and Benefits

We offer an estimated annual salary of $50,000-$60,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will benefit from our commitment to being a Child Safe organisation and our dedication to safeguarding children and young people.

Please note that prior to an offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete pre-employment checks including a Police check & Working with Children check. A health / medical assessment may be required for some roles.
