Cardiology Specialist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cardiologist to join our team. The successful candidate will have the ability to provide high-quality patient care, develop treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and supervise and mentor junior medical staff.

The ideal candidate will possess recognised specialist qualifications, including Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, and appropriate experience to practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner in Cardiology. A minimum of one year of post-advanced training fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology and CEIDs implantation and follow up is also required.

In addition to the essential requirements, previous experience in teaching the management of the deteriorating patient, demonstrated interest in quality improvement methodologies, and commitment to Caring for the Coast vision, goals, and strategies are desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner in Cardiology
  • Conduct consultations, examinations, and procedures as required

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines

Essential Requirements:

  • Medical registration in Australia
  • Recognised specialist qualifications, including Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians
  • Appropriate experience to practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner in Cardiology
  • At least one year of post-advanced training fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology and CEIDs implantation and follow up
