Job Opportunity:

A highly skilled and dedicated cardiologist is required to provide specialist medical care to patients, conduct clinical work, research and teaching.

The successful applicant will be a fully trained cardiologist with subspecialty training in electrophysiology and device implantation. They will have completed a dedicated fellowship recognised by CSANZ guidelines and ongoing maintenance of competency as per CSANZ 2017 guidelines.

Applicants are expected to have been awarded their Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians and to have completed a dedicated fellowship in electrophysiology and device implantation.

Selection criteria for this position include:

  • Demonstrated skills and attitudes appropriate for practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner including proven ability to work effectively and harmoniously with medical and other health services colleagues
  • Maintaining and developing knowledge, skills and professional performance to the level required for contemporary practice
