Administration Officer Position

The Administration Officer Position is a pivotal role within the Mareeba District Rodeo Association Inc., requiring a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage the day-to-day operations of the association.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional customer service and support to new and current customers
- Organizing and coordinating events throughout the year, including the Annual Mareeba Rodeo & Show and Festival Week
- Managing financial duties, including MYOB bookkeeping, budgeting, and preparing financial reports
- Meeting management, including preparation of agendas and minute taking at committee meetings
- Promotions and sponsorship, including organizing advertising and promotions, and generating new sponsorship opportunities
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Event management experience is highly beneficial, but not essential.
