Administration Officer Position

The role of Administration Officer is pivotal to the creation and maintenance of a positive relationship with our customers, the community, and our sponsors.
This position is responsible for providing secretarial support, including phone and customer reception, correspondence, banking, and mailing, as well as invoicing and ordering of supplies and materials.
The successful candidate will have experience in event management, including organizing and coordinating events throughout the year, with the Annual Mareeba Rodeo & Show and Festival Week in July as the showcase event.
Key responsibilities include:
- Secretarial support, including phone and customer reception, correspondence, banking, and mailing
- Financial duties, including MYOB bookkeeping, budgeting, payment of accounts, debtors, and creditors
- Meeting management, including preparation of agenda and minute taking at committee meetings
- Event management, including organizing and coordinating events throughout the year
- Promotions and sponsorship, including organizing all advertising and promotions
