About the Role

Job Overview

We are seeking an Intake Clinician to provide comprehensive mental health consultation, assessment, intervention and training. This will involve seamless care for consumers between Mental Health services and local public hospitals.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification in Registered Nursing or equivalent with current registration. Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner would be highly desirable.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide mental health consultation, assessment, intervention and training to consumers
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver seamless care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that meet individual needs
  • Maintain accurate records of consumer interactions and progress

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse or equivalent qualification
  • Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
  • Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner
