Property Paralegal Advisor

As a key member of our esteemed Property practice group, you will work alongside experienced Partners to deliver high-calibre legal advice to government and commercial clients nationwide. The ideal candidate will possess proven property paralegal experience within a legal environment, be able to handle an active file load, and exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills to deliver premium service to clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acting for prominent clients in various property matters, including client/agent/solicitor calls and email communications
  • Preparing and drafting contracts for sale, attending to contract exchange and settlement, and post-exchange matters
  • Liaising with incoming and outgoing mortgagees, completing lease transactions, conducting settlements, and preparing settlement figures and documents
  • Liaising with banks, agents, and other stakeholders, utilising PEXA efficiently and independently
Requirements
  • Proven property paralegal experience within a legal environment
  • Able to handle an active file load, working on multiple projects and undertaking volume project conveyancing
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to deliver high-standard service to clients and work with third parties
  • An organised and systematic approach to a busy workload
  • A willingness to work with new technologies, with exposure and knowledge using platforms and systems such as PEXA and Aderant Expert highly desirable
