The HumeLink West project is a new 500kV transmission line connecting Wagga Wagga, Maragle, and Bannaby in regional NSW.

This infrastructure project will significantly increase the capacity of Australia's eastern states electricity network.

It includes the delivery of new 500kV double circuit transmission lines spanning 130 km from Wagga Wagga Substation to a new substation at Gugaa, near Gundagai.

A new substation at Maragle will be built for future connection to Snowy 2.0.

We are seeking an experienced Community Liaison Manager to support community engagement programs and manage internal and external communications for the project.

This role requires relocation or FIFO options will be considered for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in similar roles on large infrastructure projects.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in engaging with the public on various issues.
  • Excellent writing skills for diverse communication materials.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

The role requires holding a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and passing a medical including drug and alcohol testing prior to start.

Evidence of tertiary qualifications and proof of right to work will be required where applicable.
