Stakeholder Engagement Advisor Role

The Stakeholder Engagement Advisor will provide high-quality stakeholder engagement advice, planning, delivery and review across stakeholder engagement and communications activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing stakeholder engagement plans
  • Coordinating community engagement events including arranging venues, graphic design, printing and distributing materials
  • Preparing and conducting presentations for community groups and stakeholders
  • Planning, coordinating, attending and reporting on project events
  • Assisting with contractor management and coordination
  • Managing enquiries and complaints including responding to comments on social media platforms
  • Delivering project messaging with stakeholders and contractors
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of liaising and negotiating with a diverse range of stakeholders. As a strategic thinker, you should be adept at collaboration and influencing others, able to build positive working relationships, and demonstrate resilience and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the project.

Requirements
  • Experience in stakeholder and community engagement ideally within infrastructure or transport sectors
  • Working knowledge and understanding of digital media and technologies to support community engagement
  • Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders in sensitive environments
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills including the writing and delivery of strategies, plans and communications materials
  • Ability to think creatively and problem-solve with changing priorities
