About Our Front-of-House Team

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our front-of-house team at Mejico Surry Hills.

Job Description
  • To deliver warm, friendly, and efficient service to every guest ensuring they have an exceptional dining experience.
  • Maintain high standards of restaurant setup and cleanliness ensuring the venue looks its best at all times.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the menu to assist guests with their choices.
  • Anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations through proactive service.
  • Stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bring positive energy to every shift and work well as part of a close-knit team.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a busy hospitality environment preferably in a restaurant setting.
  • An outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to create great experiences for guests and read the room effectively.
  • Confidence, speed and reliability under pressure.
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent presentation, punctuality and enthusiasm.
  • Availability on Friday and Saturday nights is essential.
