**Operational Risk Analyst - Commodities and Global Markets**
We are seeking an experienced Operational Risk Analyst to join our Commodities and Global Markets team. As an Operational Risk Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our business in identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of the Operational Risk Management framework across the Commodities and Global Markets division.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand products and processes, and identify potential operational risks.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for risk mitigation and control enhancements.
- Assist in the development of a risk-based approach to resolving identified opportunities and investigating operational incidents.
- Work closely with the risk management team to ensure effective risk governance and control.
- 2-3 years' experience in a risk-related role, preferably in a trading house, financial services, or consulting firm.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience in sales or trading, looking to transition into an operational risk role, would be advantageous.
- Understanding of risk and control frameworks, and experience in managing non-financial risks in highly regulated contexts.
- Knowledge or prior experience in Australian banking would be highly regarded.
