We are seeking a highly driven Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our Pool Bar team. This full-time role will be responsible for ensuring their team consistently delivers exceptional experiences for all our guests. You will oversee supervising shifts, maintaining guest expectations, and providing leadership and support to all staff.

Critical Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees; and serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
  • Innovation: Recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings
  • Guest Satisfaction: Ensure staff is working together as a team to ensure optimum service and that guest needs are met.
  • Staff Development: Inspect grooming and attire of staff, and rectify any deficiencies.
  • Opening and Closing Duties: Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
  • Inventory Management: Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness.
  • Stock Control: Complete scheduled inventories and stock and requisition necessary supplies.
  • Dining Room Monitoring: Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests
  • Maintenance Requests: Complete work orders for maintenance repairs.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000 based on industry standards and location.

Requirements:
  • Previous Supervisory Experience: Previous supervisory experience in a similar environment
  • Qualifications: Currently hold a valid QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong work ethic and exceptional customer service skills
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holiday periods
  • Time Management: Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Conflict Resolution: Conflict resolution skills with the ability to remain calm and professional in a busy fast-paced environment
