Housekeeping Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as an Executive Housekeeper. This role offers the opportunity to utilize your leadership skills and passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house. Key responsibilities include supervising and supporting room attendants, public area attendants, and laundry staff to ensure productivity and quality. The ideal candidate will also conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee stock control and assist with ordering linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies.

  • Contribute to staff rostering for efficient and cost-effective operations.

  • Coach, mentor, and train team members to support excellence, accountability, and professional growth.

  • Respond promptly to guest feedback and complaints, ensuring quick and effective resolution.

  • Assist with onboarding new team members and ensure compliance with company policies and brand standards.

  • Maintain strict adherence to WHS, hygiene, and infection-control protocols.

  • Collaborate with hotel management, front office, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations and room readiness.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a housekeeping leadership role (e.g., Housekeeping Supervisor or similar).

  • Strong people management and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.

  • Organisational and time management skills to handle a fast-paced environment.

  • A proactive and hands-on approach with a passion for guest satisfaction.
