Job Description

The position of Property Manager involves overseeing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the General Manager - Group Property, your ability to negotiate excellent commercial terms and submit offers to lease will be crucial to success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying suitable sites for store development and relocations across all brands nationally
  • Renegeotiating existing leases to maximise cost savings
  • Negotiating commercial terms and submitting offers to lease
  • Preparing budgets, strategic plans and property reports
  • Negotiating lease renewals, relocations and make-good requirements
  • Providing strategic initiatives and opportunities for the portfolio
  • Managing risk and compliance for property transactions
  • Providing market analysis/true market rent on locations when negotiating options
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven track record in multi-site retail tenancy leasing
  • Experience in industrial tenancy leasing
  • A sound knowledge of the commercial property market nationally
  • Exceptional lease negotiation skills
  • Ability to prioritise across multiple projects and events
  • Comfortable meeting competing deadlines and working under pressure
  • Ability to travel nationally, frequently
  • Working knowledge of retail leasing legislation nationally
