The Central Coast Local Health District is seeking a Senior Social Worker to join their Mental Health Care Coordination Team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires advanced clinical expertise, independent practice skills, and a passion for delivering safe and person-centered care.
As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for managing a complex caseload, providing escalation support, and ensuring the best possible outcomes for individuals living with moderate to severe mental illness. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across five connected teams, contributing to collaboration and teamwork while maintaining your own independence and autonomy.

- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a complex caseload and provide escalation support to ensure safe and effective care delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications- Recognised Social Work degree with AASW eligibility.
- Current NSW Driver's Licence and ability to travel.
- Strong knowledge of AASW Practice Standards and commitment to ongoing professional growth.
- Expertise in mental health assessments, interventions, and models of care across a range of psychiatric conditions.
- Significant experience supporting people with lived experience of mental illness, delivering evidence-based interventions.
- Demonstrated leadership in quality improvement and commitment to evidence-based practice.
