Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Social Worker to join our Mental Health Care Coordination Team. As a key member of our team, you will apply advanced clinical expertise and independent practice skills to support individuals living with moderate to severe mental illness under the Mental Health Act.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage a complex caseload and provide escalation support to ensure safe, ethical, person-centred care.
  • Collaborate within multiple teams and lead your own caseload locally while contributing to care across the wider region.
  • Provide leadership in quality improvement and commit to evidence-based practice.
Requirements
  • Recognised Social Work degree with AASW eligibility.
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence and ability to travel.
  • Strong knowledge of AASW Practice Standards and commitment to ongoing professional growth.
  • Expertise in mental health assessments, interventions, and models of care across a range of psychiatric conditions.
  • Significant experience supporting individuals with lived experience of mental illness, delivering evidence-based interventions.
  • Demonstrated leadership in quality improvement and commitment to evidence-based practice.
