As a Catering Officer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the independence and quality of life for residents.

The role involves bringing culinary expertise and heartfelt companionship to our residents, creating memorable experiences that enrich their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and oversee the preparation of food, ensuring timely and effective service.

• Plan and develop rotating menus in consultation with residents, considering dietary requirements and preferences.

• Prepare and cook all daily meals, maintaining storage and protection of food and catering supplies for optimal use.

• Ensure adherence to hygiene and safety principles, preventing hazards and ensuring a safe environment for residents and staff.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in aged care with cook fresh/cook chill methodology.

• Cert III in Hospitality - Commercial Cookery or similar qualification.

• Demonstrated competence in purchasing, storage, and efficient use of food supplies within endorsed guidelines.

• Awareness of texture modified foods/controls and knowledge of HACCCP principles.
