Goulburn Mulwaree Council is seeking a highly skilled Senior Governance and Risk Professional to join our Governance business unit.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the coordination and management of Council's governance framework, as well as coordinating the implementation and management of an integrated risk management framework. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of Council's governance framework
  • Coordinate the implementation and management of an integrated risk management framework
  • Provide strategic advice to senior managers on governance and risk matters
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders

Working Environment:

  • An annual salary between $85,623 – $96,364 dependent upon skills and experience (plus 11.5% superannuation)
  • Work a 9-day fortnight, based on a 35-hour working week
  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements under Council's Flex First Procedure including access to an individualised hour agreement
