Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud and Datacentre Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This key role involves delivering managed services and technical support for Cloud and Datacentre technologies.

The ideal candidate will have experience with VMWare, Microsoft, Cisco computing platforms and certifications from major vendors.

This role is accountable for delivering brilliant service to multiple enterprise customers across key technologies including Hypervisor Virtualisation, VMware vSphere, Cisco UCS servers, Linux Server Administration, Windows Server Admin, Backup and Storage Platforms, and Security and Protection applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Incident Response: Help keep critical internal and customer virtualised compute environments running smoothly through proactive maintenance and reactive incident response.
  • User Support: Assist users with access and security management.
  • Vulnerability Remediation: Identify and remediate vulnerabilities within defined SLAs across multiple platforms and vendors.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor, diagnose, and solve performance issues that are or have the potential to be service impacting.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment.

You should also have relevant certifications and experience working with Cloud and Datacentre technologies.
