This role plays a pivotal part in delivering managed services and technical support for cloud technologies in accordance with contracted service level agreements for customers.
Key responsibilities include assisting users with access and security management, owning the administration and management of user access domains and groups.
An additional duty is monitoring, diagnosing, and solving performance issues that are or have the potential to be service impacting.
Proficient knowledge of hypervisor virtualisation, VMware vSphere, Cisco UCS servers, Linux Server Administration, Windows Server Admin, Backup and Storage Platforms, Security and Protection applications is required.
Strong stakeholder communication and vendor management skills are also essential.
This role contributes to supporting cutting-edge cloud hosted and on-premises technologies including datacentre infrastructure, networking equipment, and software defined solutions.
The ideal candidate will work within a structured environment that follows standard IT service management practices based on ITIL principles.
