Cloud Infrastructure Specialist Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cloud and Datacentre Infrastructure Specialist to facilitate the delivery of managed services and technical support for Cloud and Datacentre technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure optimal performance and availability of virtualized compute environments through proactive maintenance and reactive incident response.
  • Provide assistance with access and security management, including user onboarding and group administration.
  • Own the administration and management of user access domains and groups, ensuring seamless access and minimal disruptions.
  • Identify and remediate vulnerabilities within defined SLAs across multiple platforms and vendors, prioritizing risk mitigation.
  • Monitor, diagnose, and resolve performance issues that impact service delivery or have potential service-impacting consequences.
Requirements:
  • Experience with VMWare, Microsoft, and Cisco computing platforms is highly valued.
  • Certifications from major vendors in systems like VMWare, Microsoft, and Cisco will be favourably regarded.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, facilitating effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • A willingness to learn, contribute to a team environment, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to follow established processes and guidelines, ensuring consistency and reliability.
