We are seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This role is responsible for conducting thorough capacity planning, monitoring performance and tuning of specific infrastructure components, implementing new releases as required, and investigating and installing new releases and patches to ensure the stability and availability of technology infrastructure services to the business. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in datacentre technologies, network operations and infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialized escalated support and technical assistance, assisting with the monitoring of issue resolution to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Assist in the design of effective backup and recovery procedures and plan and undertake thorough Disaster Recovery testing procedures to ensure effective Disaster Recovery plans are developed, documented and implemented.
  • Undertake problem determination and root cause analysis as directed to ensure permanent corrective actions are implemented appropriately.
  • Plan, review and critique proposed changes and implement where applicable to ensure successful implementation of infrastructure changes.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience working with Datacentre Network and DCNM tool and EVPN understanding.
  • Extensive experience with Routing, Switching, Infoblox, DNS, Gigamon.
  • Experience in network operations and datacentre technologies.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Strong networking skills in Cisco.
  • Ability to design network documentation.
  • Excellent implementation/build capability.
